Climbing aboard

For many years I shot just black and white film with a little bit of color slide film for clients. My job was all about shooting and processing B&W. So occasionally I will change the Leica M over to shoot B&W jpg’s. It’s fun and I feel at home shooting the way I see images with light and texture. Last week I went out with the 28mm Elmarit V1 from the early sixties. It was a cloudy morning but the clouds were spectacular. The inner harbor behind the Motif was at low tide and resembled a pond. Every movement on the water created some really cool ripples. When this lobsterman rowed out to his boat and got on board his row boat created a cascading ripple that was very interesting.
