Snowy Rockport

The first light snowfall of the season is always special to me here on the coast. Everything takes on an other worldly appearance. Yesterday morning it started up just before we left the house for our morning coffee stop at “Brothers Brew”. So before I went in from the cold and snow I made a shot of the Christmas Tree at Dock Sq. with the snow falling. Then I came across some sea grass with snow clinging to it and blowing in the wind. After coffee I went down to the wharf for a shot of the lobster boats resting quietly in the falling snow. Then for good measure I made an interesting shot of the snow with tire tracks through it. Around here that’s all you will get for just a short jaunt around town in the snow before the warm sea water turns the snow into rain. If it was snowing harder I would have looked for people to make things more interesting.
