Singin’ in the Rain

This past August I was treated to something that a photojournalist always looks forward to. A behind the scenes look at the production of “Singin’ in the Rain” at the North Shore Music Theatre. I posted some of these images on Instagram but felt that I needed to do a more complete job of presenting them after the death of Debbie Reynolds. The players in this production were great. They did a superb job of dancing and singing their way through it. I was lucky enough to see the “Good Morning” number three times as they worked on a few minor parts of the number.

I had a great time meeting the actors afterward and learning about their show business careers. But the best part was seeing them dancing and singing like Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O’Connor. Something I will not soon forget.

I made all these images with the Canon 5D MK3 and the 24-70 f4 L.
