The Street Artist

In June of 2014 we made a trip out to Oregon to visit our sons. The first thing we did was visit a large marketplace in downtown Portland. I can’t remember the name of it. Either way we walked around for about an hour or so looking at people. I was a bit cautious never having been there and was very nervous about photographing people. This one was pretty easy because she never knew I made a photo of her. Trying to figure out what to do in post was the trick. I did some work on the background and the foreground but that was all done in LR with the adjustment brush for a little bit of burning in. I also did a little WB control to take out the blue of the gray day. Honestly I wish the shoes and the water bottle were not there. The nice tight crop in the featured image still has the top of the water bottle in it. Ah what can you do. I love the colors either way. The bottom image tells more of a story. The girl (clown) is stretching out after doing some kind of act. Hence the yellow sneakers and the toy horn set aside as is the mostly gone water in the water bottle.
