According to local experts seaweed invades inner harbors once every ten years here on Cape Ann. Well this is the year! Our inner harbor has been filled with seaweed and kelp from the ocean floor reminding us all of the Sargasso Sea. I made these images with the Sony Nex-7 and the Sony 10-18 (15-28), great lens by the way. All of these were made at 10m (15mm 35 crop factor). Our harbor is chuck full of this stuff!
